Oh Hey! I’m Bex - A LONDON BASED TV Producer turned Celebrant
AND YOUR WEDDING BESTIE
Ever since my own wedding, I’ve been searching for a way to work within the industry, but was never sure how. Until I discovered WEDDING CELEBRANTS (and MAN do I wish I knew that was a thing at my own wedding…!)
But you need to know a bit about me, and whether you want me up there with you on your big day, so here’s the lowdown…
I’ve always loved performing; whether it was while I was training as a dancer at the BRIT School for Performing Arts, working as a Redcoat at Butlin’s, or as an Entertainment Officer on P&O Cruises. I love getting up in front of a group of people and entertaining them (even if its just a bit of karaoke at home!)
In 2011 I was ready to have my feet FIRMLY on solid ground, so started a career in television. I’ve produced various TV shows (some I’m really proud of, others…. well that’s a WHOLE OTHER STORY), but now I want to produce the best show ever - YOUR WEDDING CEREMONY
As a TV producer, I spent the majority of my day interviewing people, listening to their stories, digging deep to find out more about them (it helps that I love to chat and am VERY nosy!), and building up relationships with them. I would tell their stories in a creative, captivating way, and build an entire TV show around it. By the time we got around to filming, we would feel more like friends, which I loved.
Since becoming a wedding celebrant, I do exactly the same, but rather than getting someone to talk about what’s happening on TV right now (Oh hey Gogglebox!), I get to learn about YOUR story, your LOVE story, and tell it in a gorgeous way. And by then, we will know each other SO WELL that it’ll be like having a bestie up there with you.
I’m BUZZING to create and perform some amazingly unusual and quirky bits at weddings, making it unique to you, and super memorable to all your guests. I also love a traditional wedding, but with some fun, unexpected bits thrown in too. Whatever you can think up, we can do (and if you need help coming up with ideas, I can do that too!)
I’m also trained as a Mental Health First Aider; Any major event in your life can be stressful and daunting, and I want to take that stress away from you. Working in TV, duty of care to my cast on various shows is SO important to me, as are you. So during the process, if you need me, I’m here for you. Have peace of mind that I’ll check in on you guys throughout!

YOUR WEDDING BESTIE
I vow to be your total wedding bestie. From wedding chat on the lead up, when your mates are getting bored of hearing about it, to being a sounding board on wedding decisions. “Is this too much?” (no - not enough)
“My mum thinks I should do this but I want to do this… what should we do?”

From random whatsapp’s at 2am after a wedding nightmare to problem solving on the day, I GOT YOU!
And on the day, standing up there, it will be like you’re stood with your bestie, someone you’ve built a real friendship with, meaning your nerves are gone, and you have more fun. Guests ask me how long I’ve been best friends with my couples all the time… and by the end of it, I pretty much am!
You can also upgrade your day further to have the BFF PACKAGE by adding me as an MC, where I stay all day until after your first dance…
